Why hasn’t the Christian church publicly apologized to Satanists for their false accusation of SRA?

SRA is Satanic Ritual Abuse: and has been shown to be nonexistent or occurs at an extremely low and undetectable level. Yet there were thousands of cases reported and spread through the media that Satanist are killing and abusing children and adults.

Doesn’t the Bible say something about bearing false witness?





Or doesn’t this apply when your committing libel and slander against non-Christians?Why hasn’t the Christian church publicly apologized to Satanists for their false accusation of SRA?
I think the media owes a LOT of people an apology. I have corrected DOZENS of people on Satanism and it's tenants. They simply don't want to hear it. What can you do?





The media is interested in ratings. The ';satanic rituals'; that Hollywood has propogandized is what sells. Showing that's bollocks isn't. Hence the media going with what sells.Why hasn’t the Christian church publicly apologized to Satanists for their false accusation of SRA?
They would probably reply with ';The Man's'; covering it up.





*edit* Weren't a handful of theses ';Cult'; Rituals Christian based anyway? I swear I remember hearing about a suspected Satanist Cult killing a child and it then turned out it was an Exorcism gone wrong and was covered up by the family.
Why should they bother? People STILL believe that it happened, even though there is zero evidence.





Also, if they apologized to their greatest ';enemy';, that would be too emasculating for the church. The pious tough guy image is easier to maintain.
Since when has the Church apologized to someone? And it's media too, and once again when did they ever apologize? As much as I agree with you it won't happen anytime soon.
Because the christian church does not want to admit that they lied and ruined the lives of so many innocent people. But what else is new.
Apparently lies and slander are acceptable when you are speaking about Non-Christian religions.
It hasn't even apologized to the Jews for the blood libel, and you'd think they'd be first in line.

I think a lot of this is to be laid at the feet of some confused psychologists who got their creditionals from mail-order colleges...





Just because the Christians jumped on the hate-satanists bandwagon, doesn't mean they should get the lion's share of the blame...





But it does bring up a funny point (not funny ha-ha, funny sad)...the Roman authorities published a tract about Christians around 110 AD/CE, and in it they claimed Christians were the ones who initiated members by blindfolding them, then wrapping a baby in dough, then having the initiate stab the dough-baby until blood dripped from the wounds. They then ate and drank the bread and blood, and afterwards would shut down the lights and have sex with whoever they could grab - brother upon sister, father upon daughter, it didn't matter....





....wasn't true, the writers of the document just heard about the sayings of Jesus concerning eating His flesh and drinking His blood, and saw the Christians proclaiming love for all as ';brother'; and ';sister';, then made up their own conclusions based on the simple fact they didn't like them...rumors abound...it's funny how, even after 2000 of Christianity in the world, people really don't change much......
Christians don't go for any competition!!!!

When was the last time that a Christian blamed God for any of his/her misfortune? I bet you they credit Satan for their misfortunes! They are offending the Bible God!!! SHAME ON THEM CHRISTIANS…!!! “As for me and my house, “IN GOD WE TRUST” for all of our misfortunes!!! (Am I catching the Bible religion or what?) Christianity is worse than any wild pagan religion involving human sacrifice! No wonder that the only way to pacify this whimsical sadistic God is by sacrificing his Only Begotten son in human form… after he was properly beaten to a pulp and tenderized, thoroughly marinated in Roman spit, and crucified as a “spotless Lamb of God!” How “Heathenly” primitive can you still get in today’s society…??? Europe is waking up of the Dark Ages far ahead of us here in America! I guess that Religions will still be in effect until our IQ and common sense improve to a decent level… Hey, are we still evolving, or what? The Bible writers were very silly to credit God with so much EVIL when they could have done a better job blaming the Devil all along…! They would have kept me fooled to this day, too!
The ';Christian'; Right is still using Satanism as a topic that can be used to instill fear in ';Christians'; and there by control them.





To this day ';Christian'; groups told people that Dungeons %26amp; Dragons is used to indoctrinate children into becoming Satanists. ';Christian groups also say that shows like Star trek that preach diversity and tolerance are promoting Humanist and there by evil. Rock And Roll music is the tool of the devil and Hip Hop makes all kids ';Gangstas'; and Heavy Metal is all about promoting Satanism.





Here in Gardner, Massachusetts in 2005 there were a bunch of mutilations of cats and the Gardner Police Department (Keystone Cops) actually said that it was either a Satanic Group or someone imitating a Satanic Group. This despite the fact that the Church Of Satan condemns killing a non-human animal for anything but survival and also preaches that humans are an animal no better or no worse then any other. If this is a Satanic Group or someone imitating a Satanic Group it is someone who has no idea what Satanism is. NOBODY even mentioned that many serial murders start out abusing animals in short this is a cause for concern and local cops and (of course) churches used this to show that ';the enemys of Christ are mounting an attack!!!';





The oldd saying ';Dear God Protect Me From Your Followers!'; is so very true!
