Can you report your boss for making false accusations?

my boss was rude and believes any lie told about me. Would it make sence to report him to his boss.

Also, can anyone who is in a higher position in the company be rude to you even if they'r not your boss? Can you report your boss for making false accusations?
This is a free country and we do not have to accept anything that someone does especially in a company where you work. So you can complain about your boss or some other boss that was rude. Of course - there are consequences of any action that you make. Unless you work for the government, union shop, or are under contract, you may get fired for complaining. I would suggest that you sit down with your boss and explain your side of the issues. Talk about the facts and that he was lied to. Talk about the other boss that was rude. You could talk to HR if they are willing to keep it quiet and ask their opinion. Or you could find another job.Can you report your boss for making false accusations?
If you are uncomfortable about the situation, then you absolutely need to involve either his manager or HR. Some companies have whats called an Ombudsman - see if yours does. This individual can help you in confidence without your feeling like you are stepping on any toes or going over your bosses head.

Good Luck!
what false accusations did your boss make? You only mentioned that he believed lies about you, that's not making false accusations. You need to list what he has been saying about you. but only you would know if they were false or not.

I don't think you can report him to his boss but if you believe you've been wronged then you need to confront your boss. If people are telling lies about you sounds like it's becoming a hostile work environment.

Anyone can be rude, they don't have to be your boss to do so. Remember, it's usually the A**holes that get promoted.
