Technically, if either party involved in an accident fails to provide the proper information, driver's license number, address, phone, name, insurance, etc. then you ARE guilty of leaving the scene (or hit and run, as you put it). Your alleged ';false accusation'; could have just been a mistake. That could have been avoided by calling the police when the accident happened, but I'm sure you didn't want that because you could have been arrested. Now, you are saying they are suing you? Is there now a police report for the accident? Was there insurance on the car? If so, report it to your insurance company. Otherwise, you need to get that car fixed as soon as possible. If you feel the damage is extensive then go to court and let them prove it.False accusation to the police. ?
These are false accusations. These are minor details that can be easily explained. The timeline here doesn't make sense. You had an accident on Thurs and ..........................

never mind this sounds like bs to me

Don't get on the road if you don't have a license. You do not have the experience or driving instruction proper to get your license yet. And look now you have an accident.

Any other 17 yr. olds out there want to take the risk and drive???
why are you even driving without a license? i could see why you are being sued you have a very bad case in court that is why. Sorry to say you should have never been behind the wheel period. In California you would have been arrested.
If the cops did not show up and make a report it is considered a hit and run. And yes you will probably end up in court.and have a pretty hefty fine. for driving without a license. and you should know better. than to drive without a license
Get his car repaired as quickly as possible. As for being sued - unless you are independently wealthy - there is no point in his suing you.
