Are you worried about the damage to the CIA from pelosi,s false accusations about misleading briefings?

under the leadership of the Bush administration.

ita A illegal

B-untrue

intellectually dishonest perhaps ?Are you worried about the damage to the CIA from pelosi,s false accusations about misleading briefings?
Nah I think the CIA will be just fine, they get bad press a lot but it doesn't change anything for them.

How can the Republicans ask Pelosi to step down for lying about something they think is legal? I think she lied, and I think water boarding is torture which makes it illegal and they should ALL step down or be brought up on charges.Are you worried about the damage to the CIA from pelosi,s false accusations about misleading briefings?
The CIA will do fine. Pelosi should go. She knowingly lied for political purposes only. Several times.

Please recall that water boarding prevented another 9-1-1 type attack in Los Angeles. So, those that disapprove must accept the possible killing of thousands of Americans.

Constitutional rights are not guaranteed to terrorist combatants that do not follow the rules of the Geneva Convention or even wear uniforms. Perhaps they should all be shot as spies instead.

The people that some want to ';protect'; cut the throats of hostages and place bombs to kill women and children.
No. I am not worried.

I do not care for Nancy Pelosi, and have been quite disappointed regarding many aspects of her leadership HOWEVER, I do not believe she is lying - YET, the CIA %26amp; the Bush administration are a thing of the past.

There is a new President w/ new directives and the policy of ignoring the constitution - justified by the perception of threat to our national security - is over.

Pelosi had no reason to lie about this. For her to knowingly go along her merry way w/out calling out the Bush administration, makes no sense looking back at the surge of clout the Dems %26amp; Pelosi and company had at the time this was an issue.

This is definitely a dodge %26amp; weave attempt by a weak party w/ no clear leadership to ';squeak';......as their roar is suffering from extreme laryngitis.
I firmly believe that pelosi lied and is simply trying to dodge the issue. Since the waterboarding which is nothing really was allowed by congress clear back in 2002 and she was briefed about it, then she is either suffering from incompantance or lyeing about it. When asked about it, she not only was shaking, but very nervous and had those great big men to help hold her up and lie some more and really did nothing but dodge the original questions. Any body with any insight at all could see how badly she was trying to dodge and get away from the stupid lies she had told. The CIA will come out on top of this and I would not be too worried about them.
He man when you call the people that give you information about the security of the people that vote for you liars to cover your own ***, just who have you served?

If this is what you want from government the I can only surmise that you are a masochist.

Why is it that the republicans were told and her fellow democrat who opposed it was told but Nan and a couple of others were lied to?
They have operated above the law for ages. I do not think what Pelosi says is a danger to them. If it were they would take care of her permanently.

The Water board issue:

#1 Water boarding is not torture.

#2 Ok, it is torture, but it worked. The end justified the means.

#3 Pelosi and others knew about it and did not stop us so it's their fault.

The thing is that the Congress did try to stop it. Bush vetoed the bill as he did 17+ other bills the Democrats passed trying to scale back his Administration's policies.

';Bush Announces Veto of Waterboarding Ban

By Dan Eggen

Washington Post Staff Writer

Saturday, March 8, 2008; 1:47 PM

President Bush vetoed Saturday legislation meant to ban the CIA from using waterboarding and other harsh interrogation tactics, saying it ';would take away one of the most valuable tools on the war on terror.';

';This is no time for Congress to abandon practices that have a proven track record of keeping America safe,'; Bush said in his weekly radio address.

Congress approved an intelligence authorization bill that contains the waterboarding provision on slim majorities, far short of the two-thirds needed to override a presidential veto.

Bush's long-expected veto reignites the Washington debate over the proper limits of U.S. interrogation policies and whether the CIA has engaged in torture by subjecting prisoners to severe tactics, including waterboarding, a type of simulated drowning.

The issue also has potential ramifications for Sen. John McCain (Ariz.), the presumptive Republican presidential nominee and a longtime critic of coercive interrogation tactics who nonetheless backed the Bush administration in opposing the CIA waterboarding ban. The Democratic presidential candidates, Sens. Hillary Rodham Clinton (N.Y.) and Barack Obama (Ill.), both support the ban, ...';

';It is shameful that George Bush and John McCain lack the courage to ban torture,'; said Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean...';

Even people who do not like Pelosi (myself included) can see through this new ploy to ';change the subject'; and demonize anyone who dares to question the Bush Administrations policies and actions.

The ';fear of Bush'; was instilled into the CIA when Libby ';outed'; and operative of the CIA when her husband dared to write a critical article about Bush. Libby was found guilty but Bush made sure he served no prison time for his traitorist crime. Cheney was angry that Bush did not grant him a full pardon.

So, this shows that the debate over this issue began long before Obama released those memos. Efforts were made to put an end to it long before any one called for an investagation.

Nation not in danger as Cheney says it is. Two Bush-era officials reject Cheney's security stance - Yahoo! News http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20090522/pl_鈥?/a> ========================================鈥?Yahoo! News http://news.yahoo.com/

';Gates said in an interview that opponents of Obama's decision to close the ';war on terror'; prison at Guantanamo were engaging in ';fear-mongering,'; a reference to Cheney's stance on the issue.';
Actually if you followed the story, the CIA have admitted to not having to correct documents. She just wants them to come on board and NOT SAVE the old administration. So she put them in a place, show what you've got.
Democrats are used to lying to save themselves including Pelosi. Someone also lied before about Rezko and pastor Wright and he now is in the White House.
makes me wonder how many of the persons around here are under age 30.

CIA is KNOWN for fudging or misleading. They wrote the book on it.
No. Damage to the CIA is a good thing.
