Can you press charges for false accusation...?

If a teenager was accessing another teenagers computer with their permission using a program called TeamViewer and the parent tried to press charges against the teenager controlling the computer and accusing him of ruining the computer, and it was a false accusation, could you press charges? Can you press charges for false accusation...?
If you knew it to be false, you could face charges for filing a false police report and obstruction of justice. If you really thought it was true or could have been true, then no, there is no such charge as false accusation. Its not a crime to be mistaken. You may be civilly liable for defamation if the person you accused suffered damages from public humiliation and defamation of name caused by wrongfully pressing the charges. But its a teenager, so I doubt anything was made public involving his name in the first place. Can you press charges for false accusation...?
Filing a false police report is a crime. But you have to prove that they were deliberately lying. If they really thought it was done, then no, it's not a crime. It's unusual for charges to be pressed on grounds of filing a false police report.
No. try talking first before involving the police of lawyers. the courts are filled with real cases.
Unlikely, though you may be able to sue for defamation.
no.
