Will the Democrats false accusation that Sarah Palin faked her pregnancy come back to haunt them?

will the chickens come home to roost, or will the media quickly sweep it under the rugWill the Democrats false accusation that Sarah Palin faked her pregnancy come back to haunt them?
I think any negative affects of this story on the Democrats will be offset by the fact that a Republican who is against reproductive rights chose to take such risks with her own pregnancy:

The Governor made the following choices:

1. She flew from Texas to Alaska on a commercial airline (Alaska Airlines) while while leaking amniotic fluid, a 10 or more hour flight depending on the length and location of her layover.

2. She was leaking amniotic fluid (her water broke) which put her at high risk of infection for her unborn child.

3. She was 44 years old, a risky age for childbirth.

4. The baby she was carrying had known ';special challenges'; (down syndrome)

5. The child was one full month premature.

6. She did not inform any of the airline staff of her condition.

So it appears that these behaviors are not those of a person faking/covering up a pregnancy but merely those of someone with terrible, terrible judgment.

Already has.

Democrats for McCain/Palin.

I've been fighting this fight against the socialism and political bigotry of my party for years.

Republicans have their share of political bigots, but I also hear a lot of them speaking up against it. I want my party to do the same, but I'm in a tiny majority (I suspect it is more a factor of who is President, as I ran into the opposite problem when President Clinton was being attacked daily on all sorts of nonsense, other issues aside).

It's contemptible.

I still believe in equality. Enough.
I like how you used a Malcom X saying to support a Republican theory. He's probably rolling over in his grave. Here's an obvious question with a radical-black twist: After the last eight years, will being on a republican ticket come back to haunt a Republican candidate, or will they win by any means necessary?
How do you people know so much so soon...

I'd never even heard of Sarah Palin 48hrs ago.

How could have the Democrats even had anything on her? I mean naming the Governor of Alaska as running mate had to have been an unexpected move...

Got a link for this.?
They'll sweep it under the rug. As with most stores, even the juicy ones get put off to the side after a while.
this coming from the party who elected a peanut farmer, and they talk about experience! everything haunts them.
It will hurt them if it is false. If it turns out to be the truth then it will mean the end of McCain.
I doubt the Dems thought of this one (that would require creativity) - it was probably some of the guys she put in jail.
They will piss off a lot of women if they keep that up.
