False Accusation, can we breathe easy again?

n December of 2008, my husband was called for police questioning in a credit card/identity theft investigation. He, is of course, completely innocent in the situation and they sent him home. It is now nine months later and we have never heard another word since. That day is has put a cloud over the past months for us. I was wondering if you feel that it is safe to breathe easy and move on at this point since we know he is innocent and we have recieved no further contact with the authorities.

Thank you!False Accusation, can we breathe easy again?
You may hope so, yet for a few bucks every month you can place a lock on your identity.

I would say so especially since you know he did nothing wrong. If you want to feel more secure then maybe you should line a lawyer just in case.
Take a deep breath and breathe easy.
There are two rules for this (and practically everything else in life):

1. Don't sweat the small stuff. And...

2. It's all small stuff.

I wouldn't worry about it. There is nothing to be gained by worrying. It does sound like it's in the past and done with, anyway.

If he is contact for more questioning in the future, though, you would be best to get a lawyer and have the lawyer present during questioning.
